  • Truck/automobile accident tried in Chatsworth CA in 2014.  Represented an individual who was struck from behind by a big rig causing his vehicle to roll 3 times.  We claimed as a result of the collision our client sustained injuries to his back and neck necessitating potential spine surgery as well as suffering from a traumatic brain injury.  The defense offered $300k for full settlement.  Even though the client continued to work as a warehouse driver we contended that he was substantially limited and restricted in his work responsibilities and his personal lifestyle.  The settlement offer was rejected and we proceeded to trial.  After a 2 week trial the jury returned with a verdict of $7.4 million which was paid in full by the defense.
