  • In 2014, Kitty obtained a $4,300,000.00 jury verdict in a consumer class action against Halo Resorts, Inc. Halo Resorts falsely represented membership terms and charged its members termination and cancellation fees that were never disclosed in its contracts. After a two week trial, the jury reached a unanimous fraud verdict for intentional misrepresentation, concealment, and negligent misrepresentation. The Court subsequently awarded attorneys’ fees in the seven figures.
