Porter Ranch business owners filed a class-action lawsuit against the Southern California Gas Co., parent company Sempra Energy and several state regulators that seeks to recover damages from the natural gas leak that began in October.

Estenson Logistics, LLC, Case No. 2:15-cv-07196-DDP-E, in the United States District Court for the Central District of California is pending against Estenson Logistics, LLC alleging that the company has maintained policies and practices that violate the wage and hour rights of Fleet Managers working at its California facilities.
- Specifically, the lawsuit asserts that Fleet Managers are misclassified as exempt and should be classified as non-exempt, hourly employees who are entitled to overtime, meal periods, and rest breaks.
